Items of note include a deed of Henry Lloyd to his nephew Henry Lloyd of Queens Village (i.e., Lloyd Neck) for land on Lloyd Neck, 1783; a letter of the Rev. Fred E. Dibbles to Henry Lloyd concerning St. John's Church in Stamford, Conn., 1763; and a letter of Dr. James Lloyd to John Lloyd about "maintaining old Negroes on the estate" and other business matters, 1767. Also a letter from Melancthon W. Borland to Dr. Richard H. Derby on Lloyd family genealogy, 1899; marriage record and list of the children of Sarah Coleman and R.H. Derby; a manuscript on the history of the family of William "Tangier" Smith; copy of the will of Latimer Sampson, 1669/9; miscellaneous correspondence of the Alden family; and a booklet, "Historical Sketch of Fort Hill, Lloyd Neck, L.I.," by William John Matheson, with photographs.
